Home Depot @ Carlow 2
This state-of-the-art 997,802 SF build-to-suit regional distribution facility in Bolingbrook, Illinois, was developed for The Home Depot to support large-scale warehousing, logistics, and administrative operations. The facility was originally constructed as a 420,750 SF distribution center and later expanded to its current size to meet the company’s growing Midwest distribution needs. The building now includes 974,378 SF of high-bay warehouse space and 23,424 SF of Class A office area designed for management, logistics coordination, and support functions.
The facility features a 30-foot clear height, 237 exterior loading docks, four drive-in doors, and cross-dock capabilities, providing optimal access for high-volume distribution and freight handling. The building’s design emphasizes operational efficiency with wide column spacing, deep truck courts, and ample trailer parking to accommodate continuous logistics flow and fleet movement.
Strategically located within Carlow Corporate Center and the I-55 industrial corridor, the site offers direct access to I-55 via the Weber Road interchange and is located approximately 4 miles from the I-355 interchange. This prime location provides efficient connectivity to Chicago, Joliet, and regional markets throughout the Midwest. The project reflects Northern Builders’ proven expertise in delivering large-scale industrial facilities that combine functional design, scalability, and advanced distribution capabilities to support national retail operations.
