Heart Care Centers of Illinois

This 17,583 SF remodel was completed for Heart Care Centers of Illinois to relocate its corporate office and medical operations into a modern Class A space. The project was designed to support both administrative and clinical functions while maintaining a professional and patient-focused environment.

The scope included demolition of existing offices, restrooms, corridors, break rooms, and exam rooms, and the construction of executive offices, open office areas for collections and billing, conference rooms, two reception areas, a waiting room, check-out area, exam and treatment rooms, Stress Echo rooms, Coumadin rooms, Lipid rooms, IT and mail rooms, and restrooms. All work was completed on the second floor while the medical facility remained fully operational, ensuring continuity of patient care throughout construction.

Finishes and systems included carpet, VCT, sheet vinyl, paint, wall covering, doors, glass entries, drywall partitions, acoustical ceilings, millwork, cabinetry, furniture, window treatments, medical equipment, security system, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and a FIKE system for the IT room. Strategically located in Palos Park, Illinois, the site offers convenient access to I-294 via the 127th Street interchange and is a short drive from I-80 via the Harlem Avenue interchange, providing efficient regional connectivity. Nearby public transit access is available via Metra’s Rock Island District line at the Tinley Park station, supporting easy commutes for both staff and patients. The project highlights Northern Builders’ expertise in delivering complex, high-performance medical and office environments that balance functionality, patient care, and operational efficiency.
